Avida Busselton hits the road
New four-berth, Iveco-based C-class model from top-selling motorhome manufacturer
For the second time in 2020, Sydney's Avida has pulled the wraps off an all-new motorhome model designed for long-distance touring.
Named after the West Australian beachside town, the new C-Class Avida Busselton is based on the rear-drive Iveco Daily cab-chassis and packs plenty in for the size and price, according to Avida Sales and Marketing Manager Billy Falconer.
“You will be amazed at what the Avida design team have managed to fit into this sized motorhome," Falconer said. "Choose from the non-slide out model or the slide out version, that gives you more room. Single beds or double beds, there really is a layout to suit any discerning buyer."
Measuring up to 7.8 metres long, the slide-out version features a slide-out cafe dinette and queen bed to go with the kitchen and separate shower and toilet, while the non slide-out layouts include either a fixed rear queen bed with ensuite and front dining set-up, or twin single beds at the rear.
All variants can be driven on a car licence, and are four berth with additional sleeping for two above the driver's cabin.
Among the standard features are LED mood lighting, a fold-down kitchen bench extension, roof mounted air conditioner, kitchen rangehood, electric roof hatch, and 100 litre fresh water and 100 litre grey water tanks.
Buyers can choose from 13 exterior decal colours and two exterior wall colours, and the Busselton comes with a three-year factory warranty and two year emergency roadside assistance.
Pricing starts at $176,070 plus on road costs, with the first display models expected at Avida dealers in early-2021.
